Climate change

Today, two people from the city hall have come to the school to give us a conference about the climate change.  They have explained us many things such as the greenhouse effect, the ozone layer, recycling, and how we can safe energy at home.  It was really interesting, and we have learnt a lot!
Please, help us save the planet!!

Visiting Coca-Cola and Gastronomic Competition

Today, many students of the school have visited the Coca-Cola company.  There, we have learnt many things about the origin of the brand, its creator and how they produce this soft drink from a secret formula.
We also could drink as much  coke as we wanted to, and finally they gave us a cap as a present.

When the visit had finished, we took the bus and moved to the school, because some students participated in a gastronomy competition.
We could taste dishes from different countries like Finland, Russia, Morocco and also Spanish specialities.

English Breakfast

Today students of 3ºESO have enjoyed the typical English breakfast in a restaurant located close to the beach. There, we have tasted beans, fried eggs, sausages and bacon accompanied by an orange juice. After that delicious breakfast, all of us were full of energy to come back to the school and go on with the classes!!

Cultural Week

From the 20th to the 24th of February, we are celebrating the Cultural Week in Las Salinas.  There are a lot of activities for the students, today some of them have gone hiking to the mountains around Mijas, and others have participated in a competition organised by the teachers of Spanish language.

Saint Valentine

Saint Valentine is coming, draw a heart and write on it a feeling of love, friendship or just a good wish for as many class-mates as you want.  On the 14th, we hand them out to their addresses.
