Here we are the best Christmas cards for this year 2016...
The participation this year has been awesome!!!!!!! The language
teachers told our students to make great Christmas cards with good
wishes and using the languages in the highschool (English, French and
Spanish) and we have received plenty of cards from all
the students in Las Salinas....thank you for that, kids!!!!
We are really happy because our youngest students (from 1st year
of ESO) have taken it really seriously and have made wonderful Christmas
cards, in fact two of our winners are from 1st year of ESO (Claudia
Arriba and Lucía Porras). We also would like to
congratulate our student Nuria Rodero from 4A because she has made an
amazing Christmas card about a chimney.
We, all the teachers from IES Las Salinas, would like to wish parents
and students a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2017!!!!!!!!

Humans Rights
Our students from IES LAS SALINAS have celebrated this important day with a lot of activities in different subjects…they have learnt about refugees, equality, freedom…We hope to foster a more diverse and cross-cultural perspective of human rights through all the activities they have carried out for this day. They have done interesting projects dealing with all kind of matters related human rights…murals with the main rights, posters emphasizing the importance of life, safety and freedom…very important people who were persecuted for any ideological reasons and so on.
Halloween in Las Salinas
Another Halloween in IES Las Salinas.....
Our
students from IES Las Salinas have decorated their classrooms this year
in such a scary way that none of the members of the jury wanted to come
into the classrooms
because they were really afraid of the horrible things inside.
We
found spiders, spiderwebs, insects everywhere, blood...a lot of blood,
ghosts, vampires, bodies...graves, coffins, Jack-or-Laterns,
candles....and terrifying music in
some of the classrooms that made our jury feel breathless.
We
must admit that this year the level has been higher than other years
and that the participation has also been a bit higher...There was one
group(3ºPMAR) that even made
a kind of show with people lying on the floor shouting and making
horrible noises and that was realllyyyyyyyy scary.
That's
why they need a special mention this year because we really liked
everything in that classroom....but they were not the winners of this
Halloween competition since
there was another group even better, that decorated their classroom much
better than any set of any American horror movie...and they are the
students of
3ºA....CONGRATULATIONS boys and girls from 3ºA...you will have a great future working the special effects of the next horror movies in the USA....
A special and horrific breakfast will be waiting for you in the following weeks....
